Nike’s newest campaign is definitely one for the culture, it includes many grime artists like Skepta, Aj Tracy, Dave, Giggs and includes Michael Dapper (Big Shaq), J Hus, Mo Farah and Alex Iwobi. An example of Nike being aware of the change in culture and reacting to it.
This advert is the definition of diversity. Nike showcase various sports from Boxing to Rowing and even relating to childhood games, with good old-fashioned ball games in a multi- function court. While simultaneously showing the diversity in age and background between Nike product users, mirroring the increased diversity in society.
This advert is reminiscent of old fashioned fast paced football boot adverts. Gripping you from start to finish, with culture references, fast paced shot and a continuous one-shot format. Give it a watch and see how you feel.
